Pinks, pinks and more pinks! Being a little bit of a tomboy growing up I never thought that I would own this much pink. But lately I have been loving soft pinks to bright magenta pinks, especially for the spring season. So without further ado here are some of my Spring 2016 Beauty Favorites!
Bare It All nail polish by Sally Hansen. It is a soft pink to a neutral nail polish colour. I love that it goes very well with a lot of outfits and colours. Also, I believe this is my second bottle of this nail polish since I tend to go with neutral colours with my nails.
Cherry Blossom perfume from Bath & Body Works (I’m going to add this as a beauty item even if it is a fragrance haha). I actually have 2 of the Cherry Blossom perfumes from them but this one is the softer version. The other version that I have is the original. It has a lovely floral fresh scent and it lasts pretty long throughout the day.
Voluminous Million Lashes mascara by L’Oreal Paris. I know I talk about this mascara A LOT, but it really is a product I always go back to and repurchased many times because the formula works well with my fine lashes.
Super Liner Brow Liner from L’Oreal Paris (Asia). My uncle recently went back to the Philippines for vacation and I asked him to get a few products for me. When I was there, there were a few products I wanted to try out as well as some new ones. This brow pencil is one of them. It’s like a regular eyebrow pencil and my first impression was that the colour didn’t match my brows but once I used the brush on the other side of the pencil to blend the product out, it blended nicely with my brows. It looks natural not drawn on.
Colour Riche L’Extraodinaire in Marais Magenta (111) from L’Oreal Paris (Asia) again, but I’m pretty sure you can get this in North America. This product was a replacement purchase since my uncle couldn’t get the Color Riche Tint Caresse. Another cool product that I really want to get my hands on but it’s not available in Canada yet. With this lip product, it is very pigmented and actually, I only apply it on the center of my lips when I use it to give my lips a nice vibrant pink that still looks very natural.
Radiant Rosette blush from Joe Fresh Beauty. Again, this is a product I did a quick first impression at Instagram. I have been wearing it pretty much every day lately because it is very subtle and it looks very natural. Also, I actually tried using it as an eyeshadow before and it looks very soft and pretty. It is a little shimmery so I tend to use less highlighter or none at all.
These are only some of the products I’ve been using for a fresh-faced spring inspired look. Again, when I do makeup, it’s very minimal and it’s something that I know I can easily do in the morning. That being said, I want to know what you guys are wearing this Spring season. Feel free to share you favourites with us by leaving a comment below!
P.S. I (try to) post my beauty posts every Thursdays, fashion/style posts every Fridays and health & fitness posts every Wednesdays. Stay tuned! 🙂
